An exciting opportunity to join a not-for-profit organisation on a 14-month Fixed Term Contract. This people-centric organisation is going through an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for managing the external events function for the organisation to ensure a proactive, centralised programme of events that aligns with strategic objectives.
Your new role In this role, you will be accountable for the entire events and speaker strategy, ensuring every initiative aligns with the organisation's objectives and strengthening its brand presence. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event goals, develop integrated content strategies, and use data-driven insights to maximise ROI.Key responsibilities will include:-
- Event Strategy: Develop and implement the events roadmap to support strategic objectives and enhance brand visibility.
- Content & ROI: Develop an integrated content strategy that aligns with the organisation's purpose and delivers measurable impact.
- Event Sponsorship: Manage sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring alignment with speaker plans and organisational goals.
- Marketing & Branding: Oversee the creation of event marketing materials, including flyers, invitations, banners, and merchandise.
- Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, negotiating new vendor contracts, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Analytics & Improvement: Use data and KPIs to evaluate event success and continuously improve performance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:-
- Proven experience in event management, for small and large-scale events, ideally within a corporate or membership-based environment.
- Strong strategic planning and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Creative mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, impactful events.
- Proficiency in using analytics to drive decision-making and improvement.
- Experience of working in a project environment will be highly beneficial for this role.
What you'll get in return
This position is offered on a 14-month Fixed Term Contract, starting in January 2026. The role is offered with a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum. 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off.
