We're looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Waltham Forest Schools team based in Heathcote Secondary School.
Location: Heathcote Secondary School, Waltham Forest - on-site roleHours: 25 hours per week - 6:00 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be working within the Waltham Forest Schools team, supporting them in maintaining a safe, hygienic and welcoming school environment for students, staff and visitors.
Your day to day will include:
-Leading, supervising and motivating a team of cleaners to deliver high cleaning standards
-Producing daily and periodic cleaning schedules, ensuring work meets specifications and KPIs
-Carrying out stock checks, ordering consumables and maintaining accurate records
-Monitoring work quality, conducting performance checks and ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
-Completing weekly timesheets and supporting with absence management and training

-You have proven cleaning experience, ideally within a school or educational setting
-You bring strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
-You understand COSHH, safeguarding requirements and health & safety legislation
-You are self-motivated, reliable, able to mentor others and committed to delivering high standards
-You work well under pressure and can manage a variety of tasks with attention to detail
