An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and proactive individual to join the Neonatal Team as a Neonatal Admin Assistant at Homerton Healthcare.
This is a non-clinical role and does not involve working with babies.
As part of the Neonatal Admin Team, the successful candidate will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team demonstrating a range of skills to meet the needs of the service by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the nursing staff/ clinical team, service users, and to the public. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of the Neonatal Unit and contributing to a culture of continuous quality improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a good standard of general education and previous experience in an administrative, secretarial or supervisor role and should be eager to participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities provided by the organisation.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Providing administrative and clerical support to the Neonatal Team; assisting with ward clerk duties as required.
• Interacting with service users and the public in person, via email, and over the telephone.
• Demonstrating flexibility by adjusting start times or working days to meet service demands.
• Maintaining proficient IT literacy skills and willingness to undergo additional training as needed.
