Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs 7.00am-3.30pm Friday

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Production Operator has arisen to join them from the New Year. This is a varied role, which will include working in various departments daily, conducting a variety of a duties, supporting production supervisors to ensure daily production targets are achieved:

- Operating industrial mixing, blending, and occasional packaging machinery.
- Accurately measuring and weighing raw ingredients according to specific recipes or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strictly adhering to food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations.
- Maintaining meticulous production records and batch paperwork.
- Carrying out full clean-downs and routine machine checks to maintain a sanitary workspace.
- Operating a Reach Fork-Lift Truck on occasion.
- Packing finished goods ready for despatch
- This role will require the ability to lift to 25kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What we need from the successful candidate:
- Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment, as a food production operator, production assistant, mixer, mixing operator, manufacturing assistant, manufacturing assistant.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
- Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of tasks.
- Passion to produce high quality products.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Valid external Reach license would be advantageous
You will be joining a small manufacturing company, who have an enviable reputation in their niche field of food manufacturing. Working directly for the production supervisors and site coordinator this role offers variety on a daily basis. The organisation delivers quality products, and they are keen to recruit a Food Production Operator who strives to offer the same. A Reach forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential.
