Role Description
Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of Engineers? We are seeking a motivated, forward thinking Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic Engineering team at West Lancashire College. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high quality teaching to learners across a range of exciting Engineering and Electrical programmes.
As part of our Engineering department, you will:
- Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across a variety of Engineering and Electrical study programmes from Level 2 to Level 3, including T Levels.
- Use your expertise to bring theory to life and prepare learners for real world industry expectations.
- Support learners every step of the way by completing all relevant administrative tasks to ensure they can successfully achieve every element of their study programme.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered, motivated, and ready to thrive.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant qualification in Engineering with a strong Electrical/Engineering background highly desirable.
- A passion for teaching, training and inspiring the engineers of tomorrow.
- Someone who embodies and demonstrates the NCG values and behaviours, promoting them consistently through personal example.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
