Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm & Friday 7.30am - 1pm

We have a new opening for a specialist engineering company for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team based in Upton, Poole.

Within this role you will be reporting to the Operations Manager, where you will undertake the direct supervision of the warehouse operations. Leading a team of 3, you will work to ensure all orders are sent out accurately and efficiently, managing the receipt of stock into the business and stored correctly and that all materials required for the manufacturing facilities is supplied accurately as required.

Key duties will include;

• Supporting all warehouse and export procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing export documentation.
• Assigning daily tasks to the warehouse team (3 people) to assure the effective handling and movement of stock for Customer Orders
• Undertaking goods in, ensuring stock is stored away correctly and parts are picked and supplied to shopfloor on time to meet production demand.
• Updating stock levels using an MRP system.
• Coordinating and undertaking the preparation of bills, invoices and other dispatch documentation.
• Undertaking goods outwards to ensure goods are packed correctly to enable shipment.
• Ensuring export documentation is completed.
• Undertaking stock checks and stock takes.

The successful candidate will possess;

• Previous warehousing experience is essential with good knowledge of goods in and out.
• Knowledge of export paperwork, processes and documentation is advantageous
• Supervisory, management experience is essential
• Good computer skills.
• Forklift licence is desirable (bendi, aisle master, flexi)
