An exciting opportunity has arisen at our York office for a Trainee / Assistant Site manager. This would be an ideal role someone looking for their first step into Site Management. You may have completed a Construction related degree with a site based placement or have trade experience which you are now looking to develop.

Your main objective will be to support our Site Managers develop practical work schedules whilst maintaining a safe working site. You will also assist with preparing the site before a project starts such as determining the areas be fenced off during construction to keep the public safe and ensuring the team has the necessary equipment to begin the build. You will be involved in managing all on site H&S processes, support early contractor involvement and track project progress through programmes and reporting

Strong leadership / communication skills are required as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. A valid CSCS card would be preferred but not essential. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

You will receive full training both internally from our experienced Site Managers and externally with relevant courses.
