We are currently looking for an Underwriter to join our Legal Expenses team based out of our London office.
In this key role you will be underwriting profitable business within agreed guidelines and authority limits, while supporting the delivery of the Business Plan and research and developing new business opportunities to support growth and maintain the organisation’s position. You will work closely with brokers, clients, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to position our organisation as a preferred market for LEI products.
To be successful you will have a strong background in Legal Expenses Insurance or similar lines, be able to combine analytical expertise with the ability to assess risk and profitability. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and underwriting best practices, and the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
