Summary

Warehouse and Dispatch Operative

Our client has revolutionised the way vehicle graphics are designed, produced, and installed across the UK and Europe. Their patented modular kit system reduces waste, speeds up installation, and improves consistency, all produced right there in Hull.

They are expanding their production and dispatch team, and they are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Dispatch Operativeto help them get their products to customers accurately and on time.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 OTE (subject to experience)

Hours:

- 39.5 hours per week

- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

- Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Role

As a Dispatch Operative, you'll play a key part in our client's production process, ensuring every modular kit leaves the building in perfect condition and that all incoming goods are received, checked, and stored correctly.

You'll be responsible for checking off kit parts, packing orders securelyand processing shipments via an online parcel system. There will also be additional minimal goods-in handling.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Goods In - Receive deliveries, check goods against delivery notes, and report discrepancies or damages.

- Log incoming materials and ensure stock is stored safely and correctly.

- Kitting - Check off parts within each modular kit against job sheets and pick lists.

- Ensure all components are complete, undamaged, clean, and match order specifications.

- Packing and Dispatch - Package products securely using appropriate materials and labelling.

- Book and manage shipments using anonlineparcel system.

- Maintain organised dispatch and storage areas for incoming and outgoing goods.

- Liaise with production and sales support teams to confirm dispatch schedules.

- Monitor packaging and material stock levels, reporting low inventory.

- Uphold our client's quality and presentation standards on every order.

- Support with general warehouse and housekeeping duties as required.

Skills and Qualities Desired:

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation.

- Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach.

- Basic computer literacy (DPD online or similar courier systems an advantage).

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Able to work efficiently as part of a fast-moving team.

- Physically capable of handling packaging materials and boxes.

- Previous warehouse, goods-in, or dispatch experience is desirable.
