Summary
Field-based Handyperson required to cover the North West of England, including Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, Cheshire, and Cumbria. You'll carry out maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across multiple sites daily.
Key Responsibilities
General maintenance and repairs across residential/commercial properties
Minor plumbing (leaks, drains, taps, ballcocks)
Basic electrical work (light fittings, sockets, switches - where qualified)
Carpentry (doors, fixtures, shelving)
Painting, decorating, tiling, and plastering
Respond to reactive maintenance calls within agreed timescales
Maintain accurate work records and ensure health and safety compliance
Manage own schedule and communicate effectively with clients
Essential Requirements
-Proven multi-trade experience
-Skills in plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
-Full UK driving licence
-Ability to work independently
-Good customer service and time management skills
-Basic IT skills
Desirable
-NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant trade
-Electrical qualifications (Part P, 18th Edition)
-CSCS card
-Previous experience in social housing or property maintenance
