Your new company
We are working with a well-established organisation in Sheffield seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy HR function and gain exposure to a variety of HR processes.
KEY VACANCY INFORMATION
- This position is temporary for 3-6 months and will start in late November/ early December.
- The successful applicant will be available for an immediate start and not on long notice.
- Full time in Sheffield , the successful applicant will live locally to the area.
- 37 Hours 9am - 5pm
- Salary guide £29,000 paid on a temporary hourly rate £15.00 + holiday pay accrual
Your new role
As HR Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including:
- Managing employee records and updating HR systems
- Assisting with recruitment administration and onboarding
- Supporting payroll and absence reporting
- Handling general HR queries and providing first-line advice
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an HR support role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- A proactive and professional approach
