Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced/qualified collection and delivery driver to join our amazing team at Sheffield.
Main purpose of Job:
To carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles, dealing with customers in a professional manner, ensuring high standards of customer service.
Key Objectives and Tasks:
Carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles as scheduled, completing all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated in a professional and efficient manner.
To drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner taking into account the weather and traffic conditions, reporting all faults with vehicles driven in accordance with the DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness requirements, tachograph regulations and the working time directive.
Comply with the company Operators Licence, Transport Management Processes and CPC driving requirements.
Ensure all documentation is correct when transferring vehicles.
Report any accidents, incidents to your Team Leader without delay.
Comply fully with health and safety legislation, e.g. not driving whilst under the influence of sleep-inducing medication, driving vehicles for which you are not insured or trained. Adhering to all Health & Safety, environmental and Company policies and procedures, including the wearing of protective clothing, where appropriate.
Maintain a high level of customer care/satisfaction.
To be responsible for the collection of payments and receipts where appropriate.
Be aware of and adhere to all the housekeeping and health and safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.
Adhere to GDPR regulations.
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
Thorough understanding through experience or training on the collection and delivery driver role and customer requirements.
Ability to manage and administer your time to achieve Company set parameters and efficiencies.
Up-to-date knowledge of DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness; Working time directive and Tachograph rules driving legislation.
Able to work within a team to achieve objectives and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Must hold a current relevant clean licence and an up-to-date Driver CPC card.
Package:
40 hours per week with some overtime
Workplace pension
Death in service insurance
22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
