Summary
Our senior nurses play an indispensable role in providing compassionate, holistic care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Their work extends far beyond medical tasks, encompassing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support for both patients and their families. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse who wants to work in a supportive environment where care of the patients comes first. Our senior nurses work on a rotational shift pattern, including early shifts, late shifts, long days, nights, and weekends. As this role supports a 24/7 service, we are seeking candidates with flexibility to work a range of shifts as required. The successful applicants will play an active role within our multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside Specialty Doctors, therapy staff, volunteers and other vital members of the MDT taking a holistic approach in providing the best possible outcomes for each patient. Duties include but are not limited to: Providing support, leadership, recognition and supervision to other members of the team Sharing knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching.
