Summary
Position: Apprentice Early Years Practitioner or Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)
Location: Hatfield, Doncaster
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: Jan 2026 (Subject to references and interview process)

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team—either as an Apprentice beginning their childcare journey or a Qualified Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) ready to build on their experience.
You will:
Support the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
Help create a safe, caring and inclusive environment
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Assist with planning, observations, and daily routines
Contribute to the overall well-being and development of the children in our care
Being a fun, safe and positive role model
All staff are expected to present themselves to the children as warm, approachable and supportive role models. This means demonstrating kindness, patience and respect through everyday interactions. Practitioners will join in play, show enthusiasm, and bring fun and creativity into the setting - whilst maintaining clear boundaries and consistent routines to ensure children feel secure.
Staff will engage with children at their level, communicate positively, and model behaviours that help children develop confidence, independence and healthy social skills. By balancing playfulness 'big kid' with professionalism, like to role play, show children how to play and gain every skill they can from you, staff create an environment that is joyful, safe and deeply supportive.
What We’re Looking For:
Apprentice Candidates:
A genuine interest in childcare and early years development
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliability, enthusiasm, and a caring nature
Qualified Level 2 or 3 Candidates:
A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
Experience working with young children
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication skills and teamwork
