Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting and punch press machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards and adherence to safety protocols. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company
Key Responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting and punch press machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and quality control to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in operating laser cutting and punch press machinery is essential.
- Ideally with knowledge of Trumpf and Mazak machinery.
- Practical awareness of lean manufacturing and understanding of 5S activities
FLT
- Understanding of Engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or manufacturing are advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary ranges from £12.75 to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- This position is permanent and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity after 13 weeks.

Working a 37 hour week - Monday to Thursday
Subject to demand different working patterns may on occasion be required.
