We are looking for a reliable, proactive Mobile Cleaner/Caretaker to join our team covering sites across the Surrey area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is able to work independently.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting schools and commercial sites when cover is needed
Carrying out general cleaning duties (classrooms, offices, toilets, communal areas)
Caretaking tasks: unlocking/locking, basic maintenance, reporting issues
Ensuring each site is cleaned to our company standards
Communicating with supervisors regarding any issues on site
Occasionally helping new cleaners settle in and understand the routine
What we’re looking for
Previous cleaning experience (school cleaning experience is a bonus)
Full UK driving licence (company car + fuel provided)
Good communication and time management skills
Someone reliable, flexible, and comfortable working at different locations
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check (we will arrange this)
Minimum of 40 hours per week
Mix of daytime and afternoon/evening shifts depending on cover needs
Overtime opportunities
