Learning Support Assistant to start January/Spring Term 2026 - 30 hours per week (non-negotiable)Monday to Friday: 8.40am–15.20pm, 39 weeks per yearSalary Range XCET PS3.2 - £17,443.00 per annum pro-rata (£24,330.00 Full Time Equivalent)The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Godalming.
The position would suit someone either looking to move on to a career in teaching, or committed to the role of Learning Support Assistant.We are looking for applicants who:Have a determination to make a difference in the children’s progress and development
Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children
Have the ability to work as part of the team as well as through their initiative
Have good English and Maths skills/knowledge (GCSE Equivalent)
Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with, including promoting independence where possible.
Will preferably have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning.
