Responsibilities As a CSCS Demo Labourer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely removing ceiling finishes, plasterboard, and glazed partitions.
- Dismantling high-level services as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Ensuring the proper disposal of materials in compliance with environmental standards.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the project is completed efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a valid CSCS card.
- Asbestos Awareness certification (mandatory).
- Previous experience in demolition or construction work is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a construction environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
Day-to-Day Your daily tasks will include:
- Reporting to the site supervisor for daily briefings and task allocation.
- Using appropriate tools and equipment to carry out demolition tasks.
