Salary: £32,000–£35,000

It’s an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector who wants to make a real impact on product quality and process improvement.
The Quality Inspector will join a well-established precision engineering team in Ferndown, supporting inspection and quality control for a variety of components and assemblies. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that each part meets the high standards customers expect, while helping to refine and improve current processes.
Key responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:
- Program and operate CMMs to inspect components
- Use hand tools to take accurate measurements
- Work from technical drawings to check compliance with specifications
- Complete FAIRs and other quality documentation
- Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and workflows
- Flexible working hours, with a choice of a 4 or 5 day week
Essential skills for the Quality Inspector:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector
- Proficiency with CMM programming and operation
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerance measurement
- High attention to detail and methodical approach
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
