The Royal School is offering an exciting opportunity for a full time Assistant Head of House.
If you are an open-minded individual who embraces challenges and is looking for anopportunity to work in a supportive team and at the same time make a significant contribution to the lives ofpupils faced with a range of individual needs, this could be your chance to make a real difference.
The Assistant Head of House role will support the Heads of House and the Vice Principal in all aspects of houselife. They will provide day to day support for behaviour and SEMH issues. A key focus for the role will be to sourceand provide a range of in house and offsite provision for the most vulnerable learners, whilst making surepersonal development and academic success thrives.
The Royal School is an all-through (Reception to Y13) ‘independent’ free school without day fees whilst stillproviding boarding. Alongside the growth in pupil numbers, there is an ongoing expansion in the curriculum,enrichment activities and improved facilities, enabling us to extend and enhance still further the range ofopportunities for all our young people.
