Location: Maidenhead SL6 6AW
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Term-time, Full-time (8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday) – Part-time considered for the right candidate

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our Senior School Learning Development Department. The successful candidate will support students with learning difficulties and disabilities, helping them to access mainstream lessons and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with a range of specific learning difficulties in mainstream classrooms.
• Work closely with teachers and Learning Development staff to plan, deliver, and monitor support.
• Assist students in developing independent learning, study, and organisational skills.
• Help students engage with lessons, maintain motivation, and build confidence and self-esteem.
• Prepare materials, resources, and differentiated tasks to support student learning.
• Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCo.
• Contribute positively to the school team and support the implementation of school policies.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Experienced in working with children, ideally at secondary school level.
• Skilled in supporting learners with a variety of specific learning difficulties.
• Educated to at least GCSE A-C in English and Maths.
• Highly organised, with strong IT skills.
• An enthusiastic team player, adaptable to different situations.
• Committed to the School’s ethos and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for students.
