The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 2 (HGV Cat C) Drivers for our client based in Team Valley, Gateshead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for day shift multi-drop work with consistent hours, excellent pay, and the chance to join a reliable and supportive team throughout the busy period and beyond.

The Role:- Bulk delivery and collection work
- Multi-drop driving across the region
- Working Monday to Sunday (5 shifts per week)
- Typical start time 10:00 - 18:00 (approximate finish)
- Carrying out deliveries and collections as required
- Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and delivered on time
- Performing vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
- Communicating effectively with the transport team
- Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
- Previous Class 2 experience preferred, but new passes will be considered
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Monday to Sunday - 5 shifts per week
- Start time: 10:00 - 18:00 (approx finish)
- Ongoing work with consistent weekly hours
- £13.24 per hour (flat rate)
- £14.93 per hour after 12 weeks (Monday-Sunday)
- £18.66 per hour after 40 hours
- £29.86 per hour on Bank Holidays
