Job Title: Handyman – Refurbishment Project

Location: Chesterfield

Rate: £15.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate Start

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable labourer o join our team on a refurbishment project in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support the smooth progress of the project.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general repair and maintenance works on site

  
  

• Assisting with basic carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks

  
  

• Installing fixtures, fittings, and minor joinery work as required

  
  

• Supporting trades on site with various tasks during the refurbishment

  
  

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe

  
  

• Performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)

  
  

• Following health & safety procedures at all times

  
  Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

    
    

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    
    

  • Own basic tools and PPE

    
    

  • CSCS card preferred but not essential
