Summary
Site Manager
Location: Fallowfield, Manchester
Contract Length: 3-4 months
Start Date: 5th January 2026
We are currently seeking a Site Manager for a Communal Upgrades project in the heart of Fallowfield, Manchester. The project involves upgrades to communal areas in social housing apartments, including the installation of suspended ceilings, decorating of communal areas, and possibly some firestopping work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all site activities to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise a team of contractors and ensure they comply with health and safety regulations.
• Co-ordinate the installation of suspended ceilings, decoration of communal areas, and potentially some firestopping.
• Ensure that work is completed to a high standard and in line with specifications.
• Maintain good communication with the client and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all site documentation and reports are completed accurately.
Requirements:
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification.
• First Aid certification.
• Manual Handling certification.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar social housing projects.
• Ability to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong health and safety awareness and commitment to site safety.
