An exciting opportunity to join a brilliant College providing cross site support for its ICT Department. If you are expecting to graduate this year, this could be the opportunity for you!

This role will provide second line ICT support, working with members of the ICT Department and its users, ensuring that business and operational requirements are always met. This will include face to face support, roll out of new hardware and managing some systems including exams. At times the role may also aid with software development projects supporting the ICT Developer, Business Intelligence, and the Digital Team.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 4 Computing qualification or Level 3 with substantive relevant experience. You will understand network systems such as servers, switches operating systems and protocols and have some experience of coding with VB, VB.NET, HTML or C#. You will be expected to be able to work some evenings on a rota basis as evening support is required until 8pm.

In return we can offer you a competitive salary, 25 days annual holiday increasing to 30 after 10 years’ service plus bank holidays and an additional holiday period spanning Christmas and New Years. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies including HoloLens 2 and the chance to gain additional certifications and training.
