See Full Job Description attached Summary of Responsibilities below:- Information Governance & Data Protection Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, NHS Digital standards, and Caldicott principles. Act as Data Protection point of contact and support the Caldicott Guardian and DPO. Oversee policies relating to data handling, confidentiality agreements, retention schedules, and access to records. Support the Practice Manager and SARS lead with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), FOI requests, and information-sharing agreements. Lead audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting of data breaches via the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT). Coordinate staff IG training, competency checks, and mandatory updates Safeguarding Act as an Administrative Safeguarding Lead (Adults & Children), working with the Clinical Safeguarding Lead where applicable. Ensure compliance with statutory guidance including Working Together to Safeguard Children and Care Act 2014. Maintain safeguarding registers, referrals, meeting notes, coding, and alerts. Liaise with external agencies (social services, police, health visitors, MARAC, MASH). Deliver or coordinate safeguarding training and maintain staff competency and records. Support practice-level audits, reporting and learning from serious incidents Governance, Compliance & Quality Improvement Support the Practice Manager with CQC compliance (particularly domains: Well-Led, Safe, Responsive). Ensure that our CQC-regulated services can meet or exceed current legislative and regulatory requirements by ensuring that documented compliance management can be evidenced across the practice. Assisting with the practice audit program, carrying out audits to measure service compliance against a range of agreed indicators. Maintain evidence for inspections including policy reviews, meeting minutes, audit trails, and mandatory training logs. Support incident reporting and learning processes. Contribute to practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and PCN collaboration. Administration Management Line-manage admin staff, including rotas, appraisals, performance management, induction, and training. Oversee day-to-day workflow including clinical correspondence, summarising, coding, scanning and recall processes. Monitor workload demand proposing improvements to systems and resources. Lead recruitment, onboarding and HR administrative processes as required. Promote a positive team culture focused on patient experience, safety, and accountability.
