This role will be working within a 6 bedroom Supported Living service, that is close to Horley centre. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities and are supported to create a plan that suits their own interests. The Role As an Assistant Manager, you will support the people who use our services while leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in creating a positive home environment and ensuring excellent standards of care and support are maintained. This role includes: Managing colleague rotas and supporting with absence management Leading and guiding support workers on shift Taking the people we support out for activities and day opportunities Office-based responsibilities, including assisting the manager with administrative duties Checking and maintaining care plans, medication records, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met Work closely with recruitment and onboarding team to support the hiring of new staff members What Youll Need Experience leading or supervising a care team Level 2 in Adult Care (or working towards it) Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent communication and people skills A genuine passion for making a meaningful impact What We Offer 5.6 weeks holiday A paid day off for your birthday after one year of service £300 refer-a-friend bonus Ongoing training and development Wellbeing and recognition support Financial and discount perks
