Based at our client's beautiful Head Office in Datchet, we are seeking an enthusiastic HR Advisor to join their team and provide expert employee relations support.

With over 35 years of success and still owned by the original founders, our client has grown to become one of the UK's fastest-growing business support companies, delivering facilities management solutions to a range of clients from globally recognised brands to local independent businesses.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

As part of the Employee Relations team, you will manage a varied caseload, supporting both managers and employees to achieve fair and consistent outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing a diverse range of ER cases of varying complexity, risk, and volume.
• Handling cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, redundancies, retirements, and litigation claims.
• Providing timely, practical advice to managers, collaborating with legal partners where necessary.
• Coaching and mentoring line managers on effective ER strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR, company policies, and procedures.
• Gathering case evidence, reviewing notes, drafting correspondence, and supporting managers in meetings and hearings.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Tracking and reporting ER cases, analysing trends, and producing regular updates.
• Supporting wider HR initiatives, leadership development, TUPE transfers, trade union engagement, and ad hoc HR projects.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.

You will report directly to the HR Manager and work with bespoke in-house systems alongside Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven ER/HR experience in a fast-paced, high case-volume environment.
• Confidence managing complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and tribunal matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable: Experience in Facilities Management, Cleaning, or Security, exposure to Trade Unions, or CIPD Level 5 qualification.

Why this role is great:

• Comprehensive employee benefits, including high street discounts, online training, home workouts, mindfulness classes, and regular feedback surveys.
• Cycle to work scheme (subject to eligibility).
• Workplace pension scheme.
• Staff recognition and engagement programmes.
