As a Project Coordinator, you will provide essential support to ensure projects run smoothly and meet client expectations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You will assist with day-to-day project administration, coordinate resources, and maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Your ability to manage tasks efficiently and work collaboratively will be key to your success.
Your Role in Action
- Complete team and client administration tasks accurately and on time.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
- Manage allocated projects end to end with strong attention to detail and on-time delivery.
- Work to tight deadlines while managing your workload effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. You will have frequent written and verbal communication with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with linguists, DTP suppliers, and internal technical specialists.
- Respond promptly to queries from suppliers and linguists.
- Follow established processes and contribute to maintaining documentation.
- Support in preparing client quotations and basic financial tasks such as cost authorisation and invoicing.
- Help troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required.
- Understand client requirements and assist in delivering solutions.
- Learn and develop knowledge of thebigword’s technology products to support clients and suppliers.
- Provide support to team members and seek guidance when needed.
- Support all other members of the team and act as a mentor for junior team members.
