Job Description

Join our team as a Catering Assistant for Sunday shifts in Scarborough, United Kingdom! We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our catering operations and ensure exceptional service to our customers.

  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
  • Set up and maintain the service counter, ensuring they are well-stocked and presentable
  • Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Keep the kitchen clean and tiny
  • Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times


Qualifications

  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work on Sundays and during various event schedules
  • Prior experience in food service or catering is preferred
