They are now seeking a passionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader to join the Cardiff hospital team, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician who loves supporting people just as much as caring for patients. Working closely with the Senior Veterinary Surgeon, this role blends hands on clinical work with meaningful leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate services to the local community.

The Team Leader will take an active role in guiding and supporting colleagues, overseeing recruitment and staff development, coordinating projects, and ensuring the smooth delegation of daily responsibilities. With time split between management tasks and the clinical rota, this position offers both variety and the chance to make a visible impact on team culture, service delivery, and client experience.

The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven commitment to outstanding customer service. Strong clinical competence in small animal practice is essential, along with the ability to inspire, nurture, and empower a diverse and dedicated clinical team.
