About the role:
We are looking for experienced, hands-on support workers to join our small, friendly team in Stockport. You will be supporting adults with a range of needs, including individuals who are verbal and non-verbal. Every day is different, and we need people who are proactive, upbeat, and able to build genuine connections with the people we support.
This role involves a mixture of lone working and working alongside other team members, depending on the individual’s needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting adults with daily living tasks
Lone working, as well as working as part of a team
Providing community-based support, such as attending activities, appointments, and trips out
Assisting with personal care
Meal preparation and supporting individuals with healthy eating choices
Administering medication safely and accurately
Maintaining accurate daily records and following individual support plans
Supporting both verbal and non-verbal individuals, using communication aids and techniques where needed
What we are looking for:
Experience working with adults with complex needs
Comfortable supporting both verbal and non-verbal individuals
Confident administering medication
Moving and handling trained
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) trained
A bubbly, enthusiastic personality and a positive, proactive attitude
Someone reliable, kind, patient and approachable
