Freelance Estimator responsibilities:
Provide estimating support for our contract in Southern Water.
Provide estimating support for bids and contracts, ensuring accurate pricing, effective risk management, and strong governance.
Assist and advise the Senior Management Team on commercial risks and influences related to bids.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver accurate and timely estimates and cost data.
Ensure supplier and subcontractor terms align with client requirements wherever possible and assess the impact of any deviations.
Prioritise workload and support the team to deliver timely results that meet business requirements.
Engage and influence key stakeholders, including customers and operational colleagues, on a day-to-day basis.
Develop and implement process improvements based on identified needs to enhance performance.
Freelance Estimator requirements:
Proficient in Excel
Over 3 years’ experience in water and wastewater
Degree in Construction or Quantity Surveying
