About the Role
We are looking for a motivated individual with a good level of English and Maths, a practical and hands-on approach to work, and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to understand measurements, follow briefs accurately, and work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a thorough knowledge of materials and their uses
Learn to operate a variety of computer-controlled and laser engraving machines
Learn multiple engraving techniques including paint filling and spraying
Assist in producing signs made from wood, plastic and metals
Safely operate workshop tools such as circular saws, drills, guillotines and linishers (following full training)
Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard
Ensure the workspace remains clean, organised and safe at all times
Progression Opportunities
Candidates who demonstrate proven experience, reliability, and a positive, self-motivated attitude will have the opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role
