Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic and experienced team as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker and guide and support our team daily to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Our warm and welcoming therapeutic home based in Blackley, Greater Manchester is equipped to support up to 2 young people aged 7-18 with emotional behavioural difficulties and Autism, our young people have the perfect home environment to thrive and grow as they progress into adulthood here we create lasting memories filled with fun and laughter.
We require an individual with a minimum of 2 years working within UK based children's residential care, preferably currently working as a Senior and must have a Level 3 qualification specifically in residential care with young people (or currently completing)and hold a full UK driving licence, please do not apply unless you meet the criteria as your application will not be considered at this time.

Working closely alongside the Registered and Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front, organising the small team of staff ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, all care plans are up to date and liaising with health officials regarding the young person's care. We have implemented very high standards within our homes across Greater Manchester, all our homes are currently good or outstanding rated by Ofsted, you must be able to demonsrate good knowledge of the quality care standards and Ofsted regulations.
Shifts will be rota based and will include early, late and sleep shifts (up to 10 per month) rotas will be issued at least 4 weeks in advance to give you the perfect work/life balance and plenty of time off in between to feel refreshed and energised during shifts.
Starting salary for the position is £15.50 per hour plus sleep bonus. We offer a generous holiday allowance and regular pay reviews, company pension, free meals on shift and lots more.
