Warehouse Team Leader -Night shift
Location: Feltham
Shifts: 4 on 4 off 19:00-07:00
Are you passionate about operational excellence and safety in cargo handling? We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team and ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant warehouse and dispatch operations.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure all cargo is received, handled, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
- Manage a team of operatives, assessing workloads and delegate tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with company procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Inspect cargo condition, complete necessary documentation, and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Check vehicles and mechanical handling equipment for safety and suitability, ensuring defects are reported and repaired promptly.
- Observe and enforce security and Health & Safety standards, including IMCO/ADR requirements.
- Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately.
- Promote teamwork and contribute to a positive shift environment.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar cargo or warehouse operations role.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards.
