Job Description:
Crown Farms forms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.
We are looking for a Hatchery Operative.
Temporary 3- 6 months
Monday to Friday 5:30 am - 2:45 pm
Every other Saturday 5:30-12:30pm
Main duties:
Follow instructions from the Hatchery Supervisor and maintain high standards of work
General cleaning and tidiness, ensuring a high level of bio-security
Loading setters with eggs
Manual Handling when transferring eggs
Be confident that standards of chick & egg welfare are met at all times in the handling of chicks/eggs
What you will need:
Numerate and literate for record keeping
Enjoy working as part of a team
Able to perform manual handling as part of your role
Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Salary and Benefits:
