Job Advert – Sprinkler Fitter (Vacancy No. 36808)
Location: Kilmarnock
Start Date: 10th December
Duration: 2 days
Hours: 8 hours per day
Rate: £350 per day
We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter for a short-term project in Kilmarnock. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing essential works on an existing sprinkler system and must be confident working independently to a high standard.
Work Scope Includes:
1. Draining down the existing valve set.
2. Cutting the groove of the existing pipe above the valve and instituting a new groove.
3. Fitting a Victaulic flange adaptor to the bottom of the valve set to suit the new Victaulic valve.
4. Installing the new valve.
5. Cutting a new piece of pipe to reconnect the risers.
6. Installing the new pipe section.
7. Returning the system to air.
Requirements:
• Valid CSCS card
• Standard Hi-Vis PPE
• Proven experience in sprinkler fitting and working with Victaulic systems
