The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer looking for a high-impact contract role? We’re seeking a Senior C&S Temporary Works Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering complex civil and structural designs for major infrastructure projects. This is an Outside IR35 contract with remote working flexibility, giving you the freedom to work from home while contributing to nationally significant projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

- Deliver civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Communicate designs effectively to BIM teams and collaborate with other disciplines and construction teams.
- Attend occasional site visits, design reviews, and client meetings.
- Support and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership.
- Represent the team confidently and authoritatively in front of clients.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

- Minimum BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status with ICE or IStructE (preferred).
- 5–10 years’ experience, including significant experience in Temporary Works.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- CSCS card (preferred).

It’s great if you also have the following

- Experience in both temporary works and permanent works design.
- Familiarity with major civil infrastructure projects.

The setting for the role:
Remote working with occasional site visits and client meetings. Outside IR35 contract.
