Role Overview
Assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Preparing and cooking dishes to corporate food-service standards
Leading sections during service and supervising junior chefs
Maintaining excellent hygiene, allergen controls, and HACCP compliance
Supporting menu execution and ensuring consistent quality
Working efficiently within a fast-paced professional kitchen environment
Mandatory Requirements (Food Roles)
Basic DBS
NVQ Level 2 Food Safety
Allergen Awareness Certificate
Previous Sous Chef experience in corporate, hotel, or high-volume catering
Passport required for site clearance
Own uniform and safety shoes
Pay and Hours
£18.94 per hour (PAYE)
Monday–Friday corporate kitchen hours
Temporary assignment (additional workload cover)
