What skills and experience we're looking for
Oakfield Primary Academy is looking to appoint a hardworking, proactive, and enthusiastic Play Leader/Lunchtime Supervisor to join our lunchtime team
The successful candidate will be expected to support pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring children’s safety and enhancing their wellbeing. The ability to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, encouraging positive interaction and play between pupils.
The post will be for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday working 11:30am -1.30pm each day. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026. Full time salary £24,513, actual pro rata salary £5,627.02 based on 12.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Oakfield Primary Academy works closely with other schools in the Golden Thread Alliance.
The Golden Thread Alliance is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and therefore is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. In line with KCSIE guidance, paragraph 220, all candidates who are shortlisted will be subject to an online search.
