Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science with a Physics specialism as part of our school teaching team.

The Teacher of Physics will be accountable for planning and teaching lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum, and schemes of work. The successful candidate would teach students in Key Stage 3, 4 with an opportunity to teach A-Level.

Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:

• Commitment to improving student learning and raising achievement
• Enthusiasm to inspire in students a desire to learn and participate
• Honours Degree
• DfE recognised Qualified Teacher Status

The post is full-time and permanent, to begin September 2026 and is suitable for both experienced and Early Career teachers.
