Assistant SENCO

(Grade F Point 17-23, 35 hours per week, term time plus 10 days) £31022 to £34434 pro rata

We are looking to appoint an Assistant SENDCO to work alongside our Inclusion Lead in our popular two form entry catholic primary school. The governors would be happy to receive applications from those who are keen to support our strong Catholic ethos and who have experience of working in a SEND team.

The Assistant SENDCO is a senior support staff role within the Teaching Assistant structure. They will manage the day to day running of our Learning Lighthouse and oversee a team of TA’s. The postholder will work with colleagues to ensure that pupils’ needs are met and that they are supported to develop a love of learning which enables them to fulfil their potential.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting pupil’s with complex special educational needs and have a good understanding of the SEN code of practice.
