Salary: Grade C SCP 5 £18,242 - SCP 6 £18,532 (Actual salary, Part time, TTO)
Hours Per Week: 30 hours, 8.15am 3.15pm Monday to Friday
Base Location: Stalyhill Junior School
Assessment Date: Week commencing 12th January 2026
The Governing Body of Stalyhill wish to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to work in our busy Junior school office.
Key objectives of the role include:
- Reception duties, telephone, face to face enquiries, liaising with parents/staff
- Administration support, photocopying, filing, correspondence and post
- Work with finance staff to undertake financial administration
- Recent experience of operating relevant equipment and IT packages (eg Word, Excel spreadsheets, emails, and internet). Using and inputting data into the school’s information system (SIMS)
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
