Summary

Job Advert

This role is all about connecting and engaging our colleagues – making sure everyone understands our vision, values and 2030
corporate strategy, and how their work contributes to its success. You’ll lead internal communications programmes, manage our
intranet and employee consultation groups, and deliver events that bring our culture to life. From crafting clear, compelling
messages to supporting colleagues in articulating our brand narrative internally and externally, you’ll play a key role in
building engagement and alignment across the organisation.

A typical day might look like:

* Drafting and publishing engaging content for the intranet, e-newsletters and internal campaigns
* Creating multi-channel content, including video, reels and social posts for LinkedIn, to bring internal stories and campaigns
to life
* Coordinating employee engagement activities and events, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities
* Working with leadership teams to cascade key messages and support change programmes
* Managing feedback channels and consultation groups to ensure employee voice is heard and acted upon
* Collaborating with Corporate Services leads and other departments on initiatives that promote culture, wellbeing and inclusion
* Working in collaboration with People Services to plan and deliver an annual internal communications content programme aligned
to our 2030 corporate strategy and values
* Ensuring all our people understand how their work contributes to the successful delivery of the strategy and can articulate
Acis’s brand narrative – supporting others to do this internally and externally




Some of the experience / skills you’ll need to be considered for this role:

* A good level of proven experience in communications and engagement roles, including campaign delivery
* Strong planning and organisational skills – detail-focused and deadline-driven
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Proven experience in delivering successful internal communications and change programmes
* A degree or significant proven experience in communications or a related field
* Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in a regulated environment such as housing and/or education
* Proven experience in delivering successful multi-channel events and conferences across multiple sites for large organisations
* Experience working with People Services or HR teams to align communications with organisational strategy and values
* Ability to develop messaging that helps employees understand their role in delivering the corporate strategy and articulate
Acis’s brand narrative confidently
* Experience creating video content and using editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar) for internal
campaigns
* Knowledge of producing social content for LinkedIn and other platforms to support internal engagement
* A minimum of five-years’ experience in communications and engagement roles, including campaign delivery
* Strong planning and organisational skills – detail-focused and deadline-driven
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Experience in delivering successful internal communications and change programmes
* Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., intranet analytics, employee engagement metrics).

* Experience in employee engagement strategy and culture-building initiatives
* Knowledge of change management principles and experience supporting organisational transformation
* Accreditation or membership with professional bodies such as IoIC (Institute of Internal Communication).
