The Governing Body of Archdeacon John Lewis Church in Wales VA Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period, between 12 and 1pm every day, term time only.
Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in all areas of the school, supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games and be willing to uphold the Christian values and ethos of the school.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
