We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 7:30am-4:30pm or 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is primarily an office-based role, but there will be regular customer visits, so you might spend approximately 1-4 days per month in the field. Flexible working requests will be considered.

The Role
As the Sales Manager, you will lead our high-performing sales team through an exciting growth journey, driving revenue and playing a leading role in taking the business from £21M to £30M turnover over the next three years.
This role puts you right at the centre of the action, combining strategic direction with active customer engagement and team coaching.
You’ll lead the 12 members of our Business Development, Field Sales, and Account Management teams, fostering a culture of confidence, ambition, and consistent performance.
From joining customer visits to delivering regular coaching sessions, you’ll boost conversion rates, reduce churn, and implement the systems, KPIs, and rhythms that support sustainable, scalable growth.
You’ll also personally manage some key accounts, keeping you connected to customer needs and strengthening your credibility as a leader.
Additionally, you will:
- Help shape the long-term sales strategy, identifying new market opportunities
- Provide Directors with accurate forecasts and commercial insight
- Oversee pipeline progression and opportunity management
- Collaborate with Marketing and Procurement to support the sales strategy
About You
To be considered as our Sales Manager, you will need:
- At least three years of B2B sales leadership experience, managing mixed teams (internal and field-based) of mixed skill levels in either the industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical B2B sectors
- Demonstrable success scaling revenue and GP with long, complex sales cycles
- A strong understanding of sales KPIs, margins, forecasting, and performance metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (ideally HubSpot and Business Central), and sales reporting tools
