Crynodeb
We are seeking a highly motivated Store Manager to oversee the efficient running of our retail store. The successful candidate will lead daily operations, manage staff, drive sales performance, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Full training and support will be provided to help the candidate understand our business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
• Oversee all daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety
• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve performance targets
• Manage staff rotas, shift planning, and workflow scheduling
Sales & Business Performance
• Drive sales growth and profitability through effective planning
• Monitor KPIs such as sales, waste, staff productivity, and shrinkage
• Implement promotions and monitor their effectiveness
• Analyse sales data and prepare weekly performance updates
Stock, Inventory & Compliance
• Manage stock ordering, levels, and replenishment
• Ensure proper stock rotation, reduce waste, and minimise loss
• Maintain accurate pricing, POS updates, and compliance records
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial controls
Customer Service & Community Engagement
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times
• Handle customer issues professionally and efficiently
• Build positive relationships with local suppliers and the community
Team Development
• Train, coach, and develop staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development
Requirements
• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles (preferred but flexible)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and make commercial decisions
• Good problem-solving ability
• Basic computer literacy (EPOS, Excel, email)
