Summary
Daily/weekly cleaning of all areas of allocated ward or department, in line with work schedules, including: Cleaning of toilets, bathrooms and sanitary fittingsDry and Damp mopping of hard floorsReplenishing supplies e.g. toilet rolls, hand towels and soapEmpty of bins, collection of clinical and non-clinical waste bags, replacement of bags in bins and cleaning of binsVacuum cleaning of soft floor areasUse of buffing machinery to clean hard floorsDamp dusting of fixtures and fittingsCleaning of high and low level surfacesRegeneration and service of patient mealsMonitoring and completion of record charts for patient food wasteCleaning of ward kitchen and associated equipment and storage areasCleaning of patient crockery using mechanical dishwasherCollect wash and refill patients water jugs deliverGive out beverages and collect meal trays.
