Night Reception Supervisor - Four Points by Sheraton, Edinburgh Haymarket.

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel throughout the night, meeting all guest needs and providing excellent service.
Complete the full night audit accurately, including all required financial and statistical reports.
Maintain guest and hotel security by carrying out a minimum of two safety and fire checks each night.
Support all Front Office operations—including check-in/out, reservations, porter/concierge tasks, and telephone services—to deliver a memorable guest experience.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members, ensuring they are well trained and equipped to perform their duties to brand standards.
Build positive guest relations, anticipate needs, and communicate important feedback to the Front Office Manager.
Proactively assist other departments when required, ensuring smooth overall hotel operations, especially in reception, guest services, and breakfast areas.
Maintain strong knowledge of all key systems (e.g., Opera, MARSHA, Marriott Bonvoy).
Ensure all revenue is accurately charged and all required reports are completed.
Perform light cleaning duties when required, including removing trays from corridors and public areas.
Adhere to all company policies and legal requirements.
Carry out any additional or occasional duties within the scope of the role.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Available to work between the hours of 11pm and 7am (approx.)
Desire and ability to learn
Strong communication skills
Ability to work alone for periods of time during the night shift due to size of building
Ability to organise self and multi-task
Flexible and adaptable
Attention to detail
Customer focused
Understand the Hotel / Company standards, products and services
